Sheffield City Hall is a stunning art deco classical concert hall, fully modernised to provide all the latest facilities for conferences, exhibitions, product launches, banquets and all manner of smaller business meetings and training seminars. Situated right in the centre of Sheffield, some big names have performed at this award-winning venue!
This magnificent building offers 1,145 square metres of flexible conference and exhibition space, with a magnificent backdrop of impressive and glamorous architecture, including beautiful moulded and painted ceilings typical of the art deco period.
The enormous Irwin Mitchell Oval Hall, has a fabulous balcony and staging, and can accommodate up to 2,271 guests in theatre style, whilst the splendour of the Ballroom provides 450 square metres of space, with the adjoining North and South Halls each measuring 175 square metres. This is an incredible setting for any corporate event for up to 500 delegates in theatre style or 380 for a sumptuous banquet.
The ambient half-moon shaped Memorial Hall, comes in at 245 square metres and can host 150 people in theatre style, or 80 for a banquet. The venue also has additional meeting space suitable for smaller functions, breakouts or refreshments; the Vincent Harris and John Barbirolli Suites both have capacity for 50 delegates in theatre style or 20 for a board meeting, whilst three dressing rooms are perfect for more intimate meetings for a maximum of 20 executives.
With complimentary Wi-Fi and hi-tech audio visual equipment, a dedicated events team will help to organise your event and to ensure that all runs without a hitch. The well reputed in-house catering staff offer a wide range of menus to cover light refreshments, breakfasts, finger buffets and hot fork buffets, with a vast array of delicious food to tempt even the fussiest of eaters.
