Furniture Makers' Hall

Originally a banking house, though dating back to 1882 in its present guise, Furniture Makers’ Hall is full of gorgeous ambience, with heaps of original Victorian features including high ceilings and huge sash windows. Enjoying an enviable city of London location, it’s a wonderfully refined venue for business events and meetings for up to 100 guests, or for private dining and receptions for 120.

Furniture Makers’ Hall has three superb event rooms; the David Burbidge Hall on the ground floor is an elegant, light and airy space with high ceilings, period features and plenty of natural light; it boasts a fully integrated audiovisual system with front projection and a retractable screen, making it ideal for conferences and presentations. This room accommodates 120 people in theatre style or 50 in cabaret layout; for private parties and sophisticated private dining there is capacity for 120 guests for a reception, or 80 in banqueting rounds.

The Mike Clare Room on the first floor is accessed via a beautiful oak spiral staircase – a talking point of this delightful venue. This is a very dignified space with ornate cornicing and an intricately carved wood and marble fireplace. Light floods in from the three tall sash windows, allowing an outlook of the adjacent pretty Dutch church. A somewhat gracious setting for a board meeting for 16 executives, or for an event for 25 people seated in theatre style.

The Arnold Moore Room, on the ground floor is a sophisticated wood panelled room, with an intimate ambience that lends itself to meetings where an element of discretion is required; it is perfect for a small event for 15 people in theatre style, or a board meeting for 10. For private dining, this would be a wonderful setting for lunch or dinner, or for a reception for 10-20 guests.
