East of England Arena and Events Centre

Offering all the flexibility you need for any trade fair, exhibition, product launch, presentation or supersize conference, the East of England Arena and Events Centre is THE place to stage your next big scale corporate event. Let’s talk numbers for a minute; following a £1million upgrade, this giant-sized venue boasts an amazing 9,000 square metres of indoor event space, with a further 250 acres outside! That’s seriously massive, with capacity for 100,000 visitors and parking for 22,000 cars and 20+ coaches!

The main event space, the Arena measures over 4,600 square metres, with two fabulous VIP pods for corporate hospitality, and state of the art audio-visual, heating and ventilation technology. This vast space can seat 5,000 guests, or accommodate 6,000 standing or 1,800 for dinner. The Atrium covers 938 square metres and boasts a stunning 5m high domed ceiling which floods the room with natural light. Alone it provides outstanding conference space for up to 900 delegates, or banqueting for 600, but when hired with the Arena, you have over 5,000 square metres to play with! The Atrium also connects to two smaller suites which can be booked to provide flexible bespoke space for the larger events.

Four ‘smaller’ suites are ideal for anything from small meetings to large conferences, with the Cambridge Suite seating 550 people in theatre style and having its own bar and terrace. The adjoining Peterborough Suite can host up to 400 guests and has a private bar and reception area, whilst the Bedford Suite seats up to 110 delegates and is perfect for smaller events and meetings. The glass fronted Northampton Suite is on two levels, with a bar on the ground floor where 30-60 guests can be accommodated, and a further 20-40 on the first floor. Bar areas are all welcoming, with relaxed contemporary styling.

From conference breakfasts to buffet lunches and five course banquets, the venue has a well experienced catering team who successfully deliver time after time, bringing a range of creative, tasty dishes to the table, using fresh, ethically and locally sourced produce.

With 250 acres outside, the East of England Arena and Events Centre offers heaps of scope for large scale outdoor events; a Grandstand provides covered seating for 2,100 people, with the refurbished Pavilion providing 2,400 square metres of adaptable event space, with vehicular access.

The East of England Arena and Events Centre is conveniently located on the edge of Peterborough, easily accessed from the A1 north-south arterial road, being just 115 minutes from central London, 95 minutes from Birmingham, and 135 minutes from York. The nearest train station is Peterborough, with good links to London Stansted, London Luton and East Midlands Airports.
