Core Bar

Core Bar

Well, what a great place to hang out! There’s a certain uniqueness about Core Bar in the heart of the City; it’s upbeat without a doubt, but it’s also cool and eclectic, and dare we say it, a little bit cheeky. If you want to step away from the let’s say ‘more traditional’ type of business meetings and events, here’s the perfect opportunity. Book Core Bar for presentations, team building, product launches, drinks receptions, dinners, informal meetings, and of course – parties! Parties, parties, parties; especially for Christmas parties with a different kind of groove, where you can dance to your own beat.

So, what are the spaces like? Well, downstairs is the club, with its own cocktail lounge, and a maximum capacity of 150 standing or 60 seated; there are various seating areas, a bar and a DJ booth, and the vibe is hip-with-a- chic-industrial-edge – exposed brick pillars, graffiti on the walls and neon lights, you get it.

On the ground floor it’s a different kind of quirky for cocktails and dining – a distinct New Yorky urban feel with a bit of shabby chic thrown in. Whatever, it works really well, and it has flexible seating arrangements for 20 guests or space for up to 70 standing. Then there’s the Cocktail Lounge where you can have a good old shindig for up to 230 people standing or a do for 150 sat down; sleek lighting, subway tiling, different areas to sit, a very unique atmos. Book the whole venue and you’ll have room for 500 standing, 200 for dinner, 150 for dindins and dancing, and 80 in theatre style.

As you’d expect in central London, wifi is superspeedy, and they can sort out the audio-visual gear to suit your event. Likewise, food; they’ll do brunches, nibbles and 3 course dinners, prosecco and canapes for snazzy receptions, whatever you like. Whilst there’s an overriding sense of laid backness, there’s no let-up in professionalism and good service, and the team will work hard to help you pull off a cracker of an event.
