If you’re looking for a venue that’s unique, edgy and on an industrial scale look no further than the Printworks in London. Previously the home to the Evening Standard, Daily Mail and Metro, built in 1989 this now disused Printing Factory has now become an incredible venue available to hire for meetings and conferences, exhibitions and shows, productions and filming. It has featured in the James Bond movie Die Another Day and more recently Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The Printworks retains much of its original features, machinery and offices. The setting is very industrial with several floors and flexible indoor and outdoor spaces set within 6 acres of private gated land. As a venue it has a team of events managers on hand to create anything you require – it really is a blank canvas with much scope for creating the event that no one will forget in a hurry in the most unique setting!

It has 6 spaces in total: Vanway, Publishing, HSBC, Reel Storage, Press Halls and The Yard and a maximum capacity of 2500. The largest space is the HSBC which stands for High Speed Bagging Company, it has 30,000sqft of space over 2 floors and the original offices overlook the open area and has a maximum capacity of 2500 guests.

The other exceptional spaces are the flexible Publishing, a 20,000sqft space and capacity for 1200 guests, Reel Storage at 12,000sqft has an epic ceiling height at 6.7m and capacity of 1200, Press Halls with its original machinery and industrial features still in situ and a capacity for 2500 plus the Vanway at 14,000sqft with its original industrial doors and 1200 capacity. Outside there is a 40,000sqft area The Yard perfect for festival style events, stunts and food outlets and a capacity of 1000.

You can find The Printworks at Canada Water in London and is accessible from Central London on the tube, bus and train from London Bridge. Car parking is also available for those driving.
