In the Aspire Conference Centre at Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport there are 20 event spaces for hire. The biggest is the Lancaster Suite which has a private bar and entrance, and booked as a whole seats 600 delegates in theatre style, 450 for a banquet, 400 for a dinner-dance, and 240 in cabaret arrangement. The room divides into three smaller spaces, with Lancaster 2&3 both holding up to 170 people and Lancaster 1 having room for 80. Book 2&3 together to seat 400 guests, or 1&2 for 300 – flexibility to suit your event.
It’s a similar story with The Harrier Suite which as a whole holds 150 delegates in theatre style, 100 banqueting, and 58 in U-shape. Again, the room splits into three smaller spaces that all hold 35 people in theatre style, 22 in U-shape and 20 at a board table, but you can book 1&2 or 2&3 together to up that capacity to 60, 34 and 30 respectively.
There are 8 smaller meeting rooms, with the Air Acobra, Armstrong Whitley and Hurricane each seating up to 25 executives in theatre style and 16 for a board meeting. The Spitfire holds 15, and the Handley Page, the Hawker Tempest and Bristol Beaufighter up to 14. Smallest is the Mosquito which seats 8.
