The largest space available is the Kings Hall, a former banking hall – a superb bright and airy space with classic chandeliers, decorative grand columns and space for up to 300 guests, this room truly has the wow factor and is popular for both weddings and conferences. There are a further 7 rooms to choose from all recently fitted with modern technology – screens, projectors and Wi-Fi to keep you connected – wonderful views of the city and comfortable furniture and surroundings.
The décor remains traditional with a modern twist but retains much of its 18th century grandeur. The spaces can cater from as little as 4 up to 60 guests in a range of layouts. Popular spaces are the Editors Bar, perfect for private parties and drinks receptions and the Roof Terrace with its spectacular view of the city which makes a truly unique experience for your guests.
To ensure the smooth running of you event, the team are on hand to assist you with all the details and planning for both weddings and meetings. For overnight stays bedrooms are neutrally decorated reflecting hues of the Scottish countryside and comfortable with Wi Fi, luxury toiletries and bathrobes.
The hotel can be accessed easily from the main Waverley train station with direct links to London’s Kings Cross. Edinburgh Airport is only 7 miles away and for those travelling by car preferential car parking rates are available at the hotel or free on-street parking is available at certain times of the day.
