Lilleshall National Sports and Conferencing Centre

Lilleshall National Sports & Conferencing Centre is an impressive country house originally built in 1831 as a hunting lodge; set in acres of stunning grounds including formal gardens, with a backdrop of beautiful Shropshire countryside, this is one of the UK’s flagship residential training centres and an award winning National Centre of Excellence for the UK’s top sportspersons. Many of the GB Olympic team members have trained here and it is a popular venue for corporate events ranging from exhibitions and conferences to smaller executive meetings and seminars.

There are 11 flexible event spaces with the largest, the Ford Hall Exhibition Space and Seminar Rooms providing space for 360 guests for a reception, or 300 delegates in theatre or banquet arrangements. 2 seminar rooms and a bar area offer great breakout or refreshment space for up to 40 people. A state of the art Lecture Theatre seats 166, and The Duke of Sutherland Suite, with wood panelling and moulded ceilings, hosts up to 100 delegates for conferences and is comprised of 3 rooms for individual or combined use with access to the delightful terrace overlooking the picturesque grounds. The Queens Hall Seminar Rooms can be used independently or with the Lecture Theatre; Rooms 2 and 3 are perfect for smaller meetings for 24 people, and have doors onto a balcony which overlooks the lovely gardens.

There is up to the minute audiovisual technology, complimentary high speed wifi and an events team to ensure that your function runs without a hitch. Delegate packages are available at very reasonable rates to include a delicious working lunch. The grounds are ideal for team building events, with packages led by professional coaches, or for fun motivational activities such as croquet, table tennis and badminton the venue also works with partners to provide activities such as archery, falconry, duck herding and Segways.

3 purpose built blocks provide overnight accommodation for 185 guests, with a mix of single, shared and en suite rooms, all with a fresh and modern feel. An onsite bar and self-service restaurant offer a range of drinks and food and this venue excels in after conference relaxation, with top class sports facilities and a fitness suite, plus the vast and beautiful grounds to explore.

Lilleshall National Sports & Conferencing Centre has heaps of free parking, and is situated 3 miles north of Telford, close to the A41 with good links to major routes and public transport.
