There are 6 event rooms ideal for conferences, training sessions, product launches, team building events, board meetings and interviews. The largest space, the Carrington Suite is an elegant ground floor room with French doors that open out onto a pretty courtyard. With a dance floor and a private bar, this space can accommodate up to 200 delegates in theatre style or for a standing reception, and 150 for banqueting. Annexed to this is the Whiting Suite, often used in conjunction with the Carrington to provide a welcome space for breakout sessions or refreshments, or for events for up to 40 guests in theatre style or 18 for a board meeting.
On the first floor, Tickford A is ideal for smaller events, seating 24 guests in theatre style, or 15 in classroom layout, whilst Tickford B is smaller again, with capacity for 15 in theatre style or 8 in boardroom layout – so it’s the perfect space for an executive meeting or interview where a degree of discretion is required. The Pillars Suite is linked to the hotels’ public lounge bar and can accommodate 90 guests for a banquet or 130 for a standing reception. Pillars Conservatory can host up to 24 guests and has direct access to the courtyard garden.
Rooms have plenty of natural daylight, free Wi-Fi, and air conditioning, and conferencing facilities include an overhead projector, LCD projector and DVD player, whiteboards and flipcharts and pens.
