In a convenient South East location, near to the M25 at Thurrock Lakeside, the Thurrock Hotel is something of a hotspot for Essex weddings, and not surprisingly with it being so well sited, this 3 star hotel is also a popular venue for business meetings and conferences for 8-200 delegates.

The largest room, the Garden Room can accommodate 200 guests in theatre style and for a reception, or 120 people in cabaret layout and 160 for banqueting. The Belmont is slightly smaller, with capacity for a maximum of 100 people seated or 150 standing. Four further rooms can host 80 delegates in theatre style, 30-40 in cabaret or classroom configuration, and 20-24 executives for a board meeting. The Aveley and Belhus are ideal for discreet board meetings that require more privacy, or for interviews. The Thurrock Hotel also has a big patio and lawn for team building and outdoor events; perhaps a summer drinks party or reception.
For delegates who need an overnight stay, there are 66 en suite bedrooms, all with flatscreen TVs, complimentary wifi, a good-sized work desk, and tea and coffee making facilities.
