Holiday Inn Leicester Wigston comes to you brand spanking new, following extensive refurbishment in 2018. In a leafy Leicester suburb not far from the city centre it’s an obvious choice for weddings and private celebrations but is also a popular one for business meetings and events - think conferences, awards ceremonies, training days, team building sessions, gala dinners, drinks receptions and smaller executive meetings.

There are 6 meeting rooms at Holiday Inn Leicester Wigston; when used as one space, the Stage Suites there’s capacity for 350 delegates in theatre style or for a banquet, and 200 in cabaret arrangement. When partitioned into smaller meeting and event rooms the next down in size is the Wigston 1 and 2 together which seats 260 people in theatre style or for dinner, and 150 in cabaret format. Wigston 1 holds 200 and 100 in the same respective layouts and Wigston 2, 60 and 30 . The Oadby is a similar size as Wigston 2, with capacity for 70 people in theatre style and 25 in boardroom arrangement. Then there’s the Knighton Suite, with space for 40 in theatre style, and again, 25 for a board meeting, and finally, the smallest room, the Leicester Suite which is spot on for board meetings for up to 15 executives.

Meeting rooms come with all the basics you need regarding audio visual equipment and stationery, and as you’d expect with such a modern hotel, they have air conditioning, climate control and high speed wifi. You’ll have an attentive team on hand to make sure your event runs smoothly, and a choice of event food is offered from talented in-house chefs.

Overnight delegates? No problem. There are 80 bedrooms, all very trendy with TVs, air con, wifi and all the bits for making tea and coffee. Holiday Inn Leicester Wigston has an in-house restaurant, Bella Italia, which serves good food in a colourful and vibrant setting. There’s also a fitness suite on site for anyone staying overnight who likes to keep up a routine.

The hotel has gratis parking for 150 cars and is just 10 minutes from the M1 and Leicester train station. There are good links to East Midlands Airport.
