The Spread Eagle Hotel & Spa
Events for up to 150 people can be held at the Spread Eagle Hotel & Spa; it stands in the old part of Midhurst in Sussex with the glorious backdrop of the South Downs National Park and is one of the oldest coaching inns in England. Book it for conferences, awards ceremonies, training and team building days, cocktail receptions, private dining, corporate celebrations and festive parties, or opt for exclusive use.
There are five rooms available for hire at the Spread Eagle Hotel & Spa; each one has character and charm oozing from every nook and cranny, as you'd expect with something that dates back to 1430. The biggest space, the Jacobean Hall, holds 150 guests for a networking reception, 120 dining or in theatre style, and 44 for board meetings; the Polo Room seats 80 delegates in theatre style, 28 dining or in boardroom configuration, or holds 50 for drinks. The Restaurant seats 78 for private dining, and then there are the smaller rooms - the King Edward VII Suite has capacity for 20 people standing, 30 in theatre style, or board meetings for 16, the Cromwell Suite holds 20 standing and 24 for private dining, and the Queen's Room is ideal for quieter meetings and dining for 8.
You'll have complimentary wifi, AV equipment to suit your requirements, and a very attentive team on hand to help with the planning and to make sure that all swings along nicely. Food is delectable no matter what kind of event you'll be hosting. Exclusive hire includes use of the 39 opulent bedrooms, though not the modern spa.
The Spread Eagle Hotel & Spa has a large car park, and is 7 miles from the nearest train station at Haslemere. Gatwick Airport is 35 miles away, Heathrow 46 miles, and central London 53.
