London Transport Museum

The London Transport Museum has seen a huge recent refurbishment to become a superb venue for any upbeat awards presentation, conference, corporate reception, banquet or business meeting. Right in the heart of Covent Garden beneath the glass roof of the Victorian flower market, the venue proudly celebrates the famous double decker London bus and is a fantastic backdrop with an exciting and vibrant buzz.

The Museum Galleries offer venue hire with a difference for up to 400 guests for a standing reception or 150 for a seated dinner; the backdrop of vintage vehicles, iconic posters and interactive displays are a huge talking point. A huge central screen can be used for your own projections and awesome lighting will add wow factor to your event.

The Cubic Theatre is the ideal space for a conference or presentation for up to 121 delegates, with a foyer that’s perfect for break out space, refreshments, lunch, or registration. Included in the hire of this space is all up-to-the-minute audio visual equipment, except for LCD screens which can be hired at an additional charge. Delegate packages are available for the Cubic theatre, at reasonable rates.

Last is the Canteen, a balcony area furnished with old moquette furniture and bathed in natural light which offers views over Covent Garden Piazza. The Canteen is available outside of the museum opening hours, ideal for more intimate and informal gatherings for up to 80 guests or can be used as another break out space for a Cubic Theatre booking.

An experienced events team work closely with reputed suppliers to cater for all kinds of functions, including accredited caterers who are well known for their delectable menus of modern cuisine. As a bonus, your guests will have complimentary access to the museum galleries on the date of your function - a good way to round off a successful event.
