In Blackpool, Norbreck Castle Hotel & Spa is the North West’s largest hotel, conference and exhibition centre. This is where it’s at for business meetings and events for up to 3,000 people - exhibitions, conferences, product launches, awards ceremonies, banquets, gala dinners, board meetings and training days. With views over the Irish Sea, the hotel is also a popular venue for personalised weddings.

Biggest of the 16 event spaces is The Norcalympia Conference & Banqueting Centre, a mammoth venue with its own private entrance, foyer, bar, cloakrooms, and catering facilities. It holds 2,500 people theatre stye, 1,200 banqueting and 800 in cabaret layout. Hire half of that space and there’s room for 1,250 theatre style, 500 dining and 320 cabaret style.

Staying with larger events, The Ballroom seats 600 theatre style, 380 for dinner and 280 on cabaret tables, and moving down in size, there are two rooms with capacity for up to 200 guests, one that holds a maximum of 100 and two for 60-70. For smaller events and meetings, there are two rooms for up to 40, one for up to 25, 3 seating 20 and one holding 10.

The dedicated events managers will ensure that all goes to plan, you’ll have state-of-the-art AV equipment and technical help, complimentary wifi and bespoke catering. The hotel has 487 bedrooms, 2 bars, a restaurant and health club. Event spaces have full vehicular access, there are over 500 onsite parking spaces (charged) and Blackpool train station is just 10 minutes by car.
