The space serves many business meeting needs with private offices, co-working spaces, events space and meeting rooms, a lounge, kitchen and dining space – all thoughtfully designed to provide an intimate ambience. It’s worth noting that there is a loading bay right beneath the building.
There are 11 individually designed meeting rooms, with heaps of natural light from the floor to ceiling windows; these rooms have capacity for 2-36 delegates, and Room 7 takes a more informal approach to meetings for 5 people, with sofas and a low table. Consider mixing things up, use these spaces as syndicate rooms or break out space alongside other events. The spacious lounge will accommodate 200 guests standing; a very impressive space for any party or drinks reception with those stunning views of the London skyline.
As you’d expect there’s superfast wifi, state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, and a bar and music license can be obtained on request. The events team have heaps of experienced in party planning and theming, and will arrange all the details for you, including entertainment and set up. In-house chefs provide bespoke catering options including wine tasting and mixologists for cocktail receptions.
The Shard is of course, situated above London Bridge Station, with good transport links to all areas of the city and to London airports.
