Industrial chic with a unique Speak Easy feel in the heart of Shoreditch; behind the glass and steel façade is a tastefully restored 1930’s warehouse – think exposed ducting and original concrete artfully accentuated with a stylish mix of contemporary and mid-century fittings.

There are 18 beautifully designed workspaces, with 9 quite different meeting rooms. A vibrant and upbeat venue for your party, award ceremony, training session, drinks reception, conference, networking event, presentation, product launch, executive meeting or interview. They’ve got it all covered here; there’s private offices, shared workspaces, studios, focus booths, even a fabulous screening room that seats 50 in deck chairs – a refreshing step away from the norm.

Let’s talk about those Meeting Rooms, starting with small gatherings, for just a handful of folk; for up to 4 people, choose from Meeting Rooms 4, 6 and 7, or to seat up to 7 guests in boardroom style, opt for Room 3. If you number 8, then it’s Room 2 or 5. Moving up, Rooms 1 and 9 accommodate 12 delegates in boardroom layout, Room 8 has capacity for 24, and when combined, Rooms 8 and 9 seats 36 in theatre style. For bigger, more sociable events the lounge & bar have a capacity of 250 guests standing, and if you add the screening room to that there’s room for 280. For brighter days, an awesome sun lounge and roof garden easily accommodate 50 people standing.

Besides the roof garden and terrace, and the lounge and bar, there’s also a café, and kitchen and dining areas. Work with creative in-house chefs for catering tailored to your event, whether you want a tea party, food stalls, a buffet, a barbecue or a cocktail reception. The friendly events team will take care of all the details for you – they’ll even sort out entertainment, a bar license, and all the bits for a themed event. Albert House has superfast wifi and audio-visual equipment can be hired to suit your event.

True to its green ethos, Albert House has plenty of bike storage, and is located just yards from Old Street underground station.
