Set within botanical gardens, Reed Hall is an oasis of calm just a short stroll from Exeter city centre; with its classic Italianate character and a backdrop of peaceful gardens, trees and ponds, it’s no surprise that this is a popular venue for romantic weddings, and for focused business meetings and events for up to 140 people.

All 7 meeting spaces have complimentary wifi and up to the minute audio-visual equipment. With sweeping views across the city of Exeter, the Upper Lounge is ideal for conferences and presentations for up to 80 delegates in theatre style. Overlooking the gardens, the Ibrahim Ahmed room has capacity for up to 48 people in theatre style or 26 in boardroom configuration. The Margaret Hewitt, The Walter Daw and the Garden Rooms are all distinguished spaces with wonderful, original features, and they can host 16-20 guests in theatre style or 16 in cabaret layout. The smallest room, the Thornton West has an adjoining lounge area and is perfect for executive meetings for 14-16 delegates, or for interviews. The Woodbridge Restaurant, with French doors opening out onto the gardens, is a lovely setting for private dinners for 140 guests in rounds, or for events for 100-120 people in theatre style. The lower foyer and upper landing are useful for breakout space or refreshments, as are the gardens.

Team building events on the Streatham campus can be organised in conjunction with any Reed Hall booking – think Tai-chi sessions, mini Olympics, and team challenges. Your delegates can enjoy hot lunches in the Woodbridge Restaurant, or working lunches can be delivered to the meeting rooms; breakfast meetings are very popular, aa are Express 2 hour meetings. Whatever your requirements, you’ll have the services of an experienced events team, and meeting packages are available to include various refreshment and lunch options

Reed Hall has 8 individually styled bedrooms, enjoying gorgeous views over the botanical gardens. Out of term time, en suite university bedrooms are also available as guest rooms and are just a short walk away.

The Woodbridge Restaurant has an excellent reputation for its range of lunches, whilst the Reed Café is a delightful setting for cakes and light lunches. Afternoon tea can be taken on the lawns and any of the meeting rooms can be hired for private dining, with a delectable array of dishes brought to you by dedicated and experienced chefs.

Reed Hall lies within the main campus of the university of Exeter, within easy walking distance of the city centre and train stations. Exeter International Airport is also easily reached.
