In a convenient South East location, near to the M25 at Thurrock Lakeside, the Thurrock Hotel is something of a hotspot for Essex weddings, and not surprisingly with it being so well sited, this 3 star hotel is also a popular venue for business meetings and conferences for 8-200 delegates.

The 8 conference and meeting rooms all have natural daylight and free wifi, and whatever your event, there’s bound to be a room here that’s just right for it, whether it’s an exhibition, a product launch, a conference, presentation, training session, reception, gala dinner, or smaller executive meeting. You’ll have the expertise of a professional team to help ensure the smooth running of your event, and audio-visual equipment can be arranged to suit your event. Delegate packages start at very reasonable rates and include plenty of refreshments, a choice of lunches, basic stationery, and an LCD projector and screen; a range of secretarial services are also available at extra charges.

The largest room, the Garden Room can accommodate 200 guests in theatre style and for a reception, or 120 people in cabaret layout and for banqueting. The Belmont is slightly smaller, with capacity for a maximum of 100 people seated or 150 standing. Four further rooms can host 80 delegates in theatre style, 30-40 in cabaret or classroom configuration, and 20-24 executives for a board meeting. The Aveley and Belhus are ideal for discreet board meetings that require more privacy, or for interviews. The Thurrock Hotel also has a big patio and lawn for team building and outdoor events; perhaps a summer drinks party or reception.

For delegates who need an overnight stay, there are 60 en suite bedrooms, all with flatscreen TVs, complimentary wifi, a good-sized work desk, and tea and coffee making facilities. For dining, there’s an A La Carte restaurant, a relaxing lounge and a bar, plus the patio and courtyard garden for drinks in the summer and for private events.

Thurrock Hotel has parking for 300 cars, and great for business events – it’s conveniently close to the M25 with easy access to the Docklands and the city of London, and to the ports at Dover and Folkestone.
