The Henry Addington

The Henry Addington

A traditional style pub, bursting with character in a handy Canary Wharf location. Great for off-site meetings and after work events – think drinks receptions, corporate parties, private dinners, smaller conferences and other executive gatherings.

These guys get pretty excited about history, so they’ve named this pub after Henry Addington, the First Viscount Sidmouth who was Prime Minister from 1801-1804. His father had treated George III through one of his famous bouts of madness, so Addington was much favoured by the king. You can hire the whole venue for a larger vent for up to 450 guests standing, or opt for a smaller space – there are several semi-private raised areas to choose from, with varying capacities.

Food is top notch British pub fare with a touch of modern flair from the creative chefs; they’re also big on pie and mash with the pub also being a speciality Pie House. Great to see these old traditions coming back. The team are remarkably friendly, and the day delegate rates are not to be scoffed at as they offer excellent value and include free high speed wifi, a projector and screen, flipchart, pens and paper, refreshments and a delicious buffet lunch.

Find the Henry Addington within easy walking distance of Canary Wharf tube station.
