Wales Millennium Centre
Located in Cardiff Bay this stunning building is home to one of the UK’s top cultural attractions – The Wales Millennium Centre. This self-contained performing arts venue contains several theatres and halls available for all types of performances from small scale dramas to full scale productions. The centre is also a unique, inviting venue for a variety of ceremonies, meetings and conferences.
The largest space is the Donald Gordon theatre – a 1897 seated auditorium – designed for music productions, shows and operas. It can also be used as a stunning conference venue, performances permitting. The stage is a venue in itself where a Gala Dinner for up to 450 can be held and even marriages can take place as one of the six locations approved to conduct Civil Partnerships and Marriages within the Centre. Receptions for 700 can also be held in this grand auditorium. Also available for conferences is Hoddinott Hall – home and recording studio of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales - with a theatre style space for 350 guests and The Weston Studio for 250 guests.
The atmospheric environments make a unique and unforgettable venue for you and your guests. Event teams are available to help to plan and organise all your needs from technical aspects to catering and those all-important finishing touches for a truly memorable event.
Located in Cardiff Bay along with other leisure facilities, ample car parking is available. There is a shuttle from the train station taking you direct to the Centre.
