This recently restored building in Leicester, previously a cinema built in the 1930’s has been given back its former glory and is now home to many types of events from concerts and shows, gala dinners, proms and parties, glittering award ceremonies and exhibitions, even weddings! With the capacity to hold up to 1500 and winner of several venue awards, Athena is one of the largest and flexible venues in the Midlands.

The main Cinema Suite is a unique tiered theatre space with a stage, lighting plus seating for up to 1000 guests, this room is popular for awards ceremonies and gala dinners and shows. Overlooking this space is the Gallery which can be used in conjunction with the Cinema Suite or as a space individually. It can seat up to 400 guests and is perfect for a pre-dining area. 2 unique and beautifully Art-Deco inspired Lounges are available, Deco and City View and make perfect spaces for breakout rooms or drinks receptions.

Adorning the venue are incredible AV equipment such as plasma screens to create a modern touch to your event, plus an amazing team of experts to help bring your event to life.
