Part of the CH Venues portfolio, Nicholson Square, Edinburgh is right in the centre of the city, housed in what was the City of Edinburgh's Methodist Church, dating back to 1815. These days it offers light and airy, flexible event space with capacity for up to 200 people for conferences, business meetings, awards ceremonies, training days, exhibitions, product launches, networking receptions, and concerts.

Nicholson Square has 5 event rooms over two buildings, linked by an inter-connecting corridor; in the Main Building is the Great Hall which holds 200 delegates in theatre style and for a reception, or 120 in cabaret arrangement. Adjacent to the Main Building is the Epworth Hall where the Leith is perfect for events for up to 100 and is often used with the adjoining Abbeyhill which holds 40 – think break out space or use it for registrations and coffee. For smaller executive meetings and training sessions the Tollcross seats 30 and the Calton, 20. The Epworth Hall also has catering space on the ground floor and a sunny courtyard.

All rooms are packed full of historic character, lending themselves to photoshoots and filming; there are high ceilings, ornate plasterwork and big windows that let in plenty of natural daylight. Expect up-to-the-minute AV equipment, superspeedy wifi and bespoke catering for your event.

There are hotels and car parks close to Nicholson Square, Edinburgh, and Waverley train station is just half a mile away.
