Epsom Downs Racecourse

Home of the Derby since 1780, Epsom Downs Racecourse is a front runner for business meetings and events, just 30 minutes from central London by train. With a top capacity of 1500 guests, you’ll find rooms to suit all kinds of events including conferences, product launches, exhibitions, training days, AGMs, board meetings, awards ceremonies, banquets, drinks receptions, corporate celebrations, and for smaller meetings and hospitality.

The biggest event spaces at Epsom Downs Racecourse are in the Duchess Stand, with The Oaks holding 1500 people for drinks, 800 in theatre style and 504 in cabaret layout. The Diomed Room has capacity for 400 folk standing, 500 in theatre style and 350 dining, and The Gallops Suite 100, 60 and 80 in the same respective layouts.

In the Queen’s Stand, The Derby Suite accommodates 400 for a networking reception, 350 in theatre style and 200 banqueting. The Blue Riband Room seats 300 dining, and 250 in theatre style, or it has room for 350 for cocktails. The Jockey Club Room and The Boardroom both hold 100 standing and up to 80 seated. For smaller meetings and events there are 26 private boxes with capacity for up to 40 standing or dining and board meetings for 20.

Besides spectacular views that stretch across the Downs, you will also have award winning catering to suit your event, state-of-the-art AV equipment, complimentary wifi, and the services of a dedicated Events Manager.

Epsom Downs Racecourse is within easy reach of the A3 and M25 and has an on-site hotel with 120 bedrooms for overnight guests.
