In a strategic setting on the south bank of the River Tyne, there are sweeping views of Newcastle Gateshead Quayside, taking in the famous Tyne and Gateshead Millennium Bridges. With spaces offering state of the art technology, outstanding acoustics, adjustable lighting and ceiling heights, temperature control, a mechanical stage and even computerised flying systems, Sage Gateshead has all you need for your event. It boasts two huge, multi-purpose rooms, smaller meeting spaces, a stunning glazed concourse, adaptable foyers, and bars. The two main halls, Sage One and Sage Two seat up to 1,640 and 400 delegates respectively with hire including foyers, dressing rooms, meeting pods and front of house staff.

The Barbour Room measuring 258 square metres with a capacity of 300 guests, and the Northern Rock Foundation Hall for up to 250. Go down in size again and there’s the Squires Seminar Room which seats 35 delegates in theatre style or 16 in boardroom layout. The Concourse (ground floor) level and balcony foyers are superb for conference dinners, award shows and exhibitions and with room capacities varying from 3 to 70 people, there are 35 smaller spaces which can be hired separately or are great for catering or break out spaces for larger events.

Sage Gateshead is a fully accessible venue with a hearing loop and controlled lighting. There is ample onsite parking and is within easy reach of the A1 and Newcastle city centre. There are many hotels close by.
