What a venue! On the edge of the Cotswolds, standing resplendent in 440 acres of glorious Oxfordshire countryside; 2 side by side hotels, a championship 18-hole golf course, health club & spa, and conferencing facilities for up to 1,000 delegates! Wow!

Heythorp Park Hotel is a huge country pile dating back to 1710 and Crowne Plaza Hotel is its modern neighbour; they can be used individually or combined for larger events. There are 28 meeting spaces in all, including a purpose-built conference theatre for 400 delegates and the stunning new Archery Suite on the Lawns hosting 1,000 guests.

The older building encompasses the Shrewsbury Wing, a dedicated training wing with 11 meeting rooms, all with access to a peaceful inner courtyard. The Enstone Room has a private foyer and bar, and accommodates 250 delegates in theatre style, whilst the Bodicote seats 100 in the same layout. Holding 60 guests seated, the Churchill Room is a distinguished space with mahogany panelled walls, a library and an exquisite fireplace. 3 further rooms each seat 40 people, and for smaller meetings there’s a Boardroom holding 12 executives, and 5 syndicate rooms for 6.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel has a purpose-built Conference Theatre with a private foyer and auditorium seating for 400, and a huge Ballroom, also with a private foyer and separate entrance; it can accommodate 450 seated and divides into 3 smaller rooms. The Hanborough & Stratford seats 100, and the Bartons 50. These rooms all have access to a central Moroccan Courtyard. For smaller meetings there’s a Boardroom for 12 executives, or a Boardroom Annex for 6.

With a wonderful outlook over the main house and the lawns, the Archery Suite on the Lawns is a stunning fixed marquee with natural daylight, heating and wifi, and its own car park. At 1,000 square metres, it holds 1,000 guests in theatre style, or 800 for dinner.

The extensive grounds and woods offer plenty of scope for team building activities. 24-hour delegate packages include a 3-course dinner and reduced golf rates; there’s complimentary wifi, top notch audio-visual equipment and a well-polished team to ensure all runs smoothly.

The two hotels have a total of 358 bedrooms some modern, some sumptuous more traditional in style. With 800 free parking spaces, Heythrop Park Resort is situated at Chipping Norton, 12 miles from Oxford, with direct lines from Paddington. London Heathrow and Birmingham International airports are within 90 minutes’ drive.
