The Forum

The Forum Kitchen and Bar in Sheffield city centre is one of those snazzy and very sociable places that’s bang on trend right now; eclectic decor with a chic industrial edge, an upbeat ambience and event space with a maximum capacity of 80 sat down or 150 standing. It’s where the hip cats hang out so it’s a great place to book for parties and barbecues, and for laid back meetings and events – you know, breakfast meetings, networking receptions, private dinners, that kind of thing.

There are 5 spaces for hire at The Forum; the biggest is the Dining Room, a large area next to the main bar that includes 3 booth tables and holds 150 guests for a party, buffet or drinks. The Lounge has a nice outlook over Devonshire Green and is a good sized area with seating and tables for 50, whilst right opposite the main bar is the Snug, with room for 40 for dinner. For smaller soirées book the Stage, a raised area overlooking the bar where soft seating and low tables create an insouciant atmosphere for up to 20 people. If your style is more alfresco then hold your event on the Outside Terrace where there’s room for 60 guests – great for summer parties and BBQs.

Wifi comes free but there’s no on-site parking – shouldn’t be a problem as there are several car parks within easy walking distance. If you need to come by train, Sheffield station is just over a mile away.
