Shelford Rugby Club

Set in 12 peaceful acres not far from the centre of Cambridge, Shelford Rugby Club can be booked for bespoke business meetings and events for up to 1075 guests. The flexible spaces can accommodate conferences, product launches, exhibitions, training and team building days, awards ceremonies, dinner-dances, networking receptions and corporate parties.

There are two event spaces in the Clubhouse at Shelford Rugby Club; downstairs the light and airy function room opens onto the patio and grounds and has a private bar, professional standard kitchen and a big screen. Flexibility allows for drinks receptions for 250 guests, 200 in theatre style or for a dinner-dance, 150 dining, and 100 in classroom and cabaret layout. Upstairs the cosy VIP Lounge is ideal for smaller events, and has a bar, TV screens and access to the terrace. Outside there's the option for a magnificent marquee in the grounds with space for a 1075 guest reception, 850 in theatre layout or a dance, 640 dining or 542 in cabaret configuration.

There are also rooms available for breakouts and registration, and event planners on hand to make sure everything is tailored to your requirements. There's high speed wifi, AV equipment can be hired as necessary, and you have the option of self-catering for your event or opting for menus offered by the venues choice of professional caterers.

Shelford Rugby Club has on-site parking for 150 cars and is easily reached from the M11. Cambridge railway station is just a 15-minute drive away.
