The Queens
The Queens Hotel in Leeds city centre is an icon of sumptuous Art Deco style – a very impressive venue for glamorous weddings and parties, and for business meetings and events for up to 500 people. 13 event spaces mean all events are covered - conferences, exhibitions, product launches, awards ceremonies, banquets, dinner-dances, networking receptions, training and team building days, AGMs, board meetings and smaller executive meetings.
The largest event space is the Queens Ballroom, holding 500 guests for a banquet, 450 in theatre style and 80 in U-shape; hire in conjunction with the adjacent Ballroom Foyer for registrations and receptions for 50. Palm Court seats 180 dining, 200 in theatre style and 45 in U-shape, and the John Charles Suite accommodates 120, 160 and 61 in the same respective layouts. This room divides into 3 smaller spaces with capacity for 30-80. The Arc Royal holds 100 delegates in theatre style, 40 in classroom arrangement and 32 in boardroom set-up; Pateley is a similar size with room for 80 in theatre style. 7 smaller rooms seat 6-20 for those more discrete meetings and interviews.
