The Queens

The Queens Hotel in Leeds city centre is an icon of sumptuous Art Deco style – a very impressive venue for glamorous weddings and parties, and for business meetings and events for up to 550 people. 16 rooms mean all events are covered - conferences, exhibitions, product launches, awards ceremonies, banquets, dinner-dances, networking receptions, training and team building days, AGMs, board meetings and smaller executive conflabs.

The largest event space is the Queens Ballroom, holding 550 folk for a banquet, 500 in theatre style and 80 in U-shape; hire in conjunction with the adjacent Ballroom Foyer for registrations and receptions for 50. Palm Court seats 180 dining, 200 in theatre style and 55 in U-shape, and the John Charles Suite accommodates 120, 150 and 61 in the same respective layouts. This room divides into 3 smaller spaces with capacity for 30-80. The Arc Royal holds 100 delegates in theatre style, 40 in classroom arrangement and 35 in boardroom set-up; Pateley is a similar size with room for 80 in theatre style. 7 smaller rooms seat 6-20 for those more discrete meetings and interviews.

Expect opulent elegance inside and out, free wifi, cutting-edge AV technology with providers on hand, top-notch catering and a well-polished events team to ensure all runs smoothly. Add to that heaps of indoor space for breakouts and team building and a business support team and that’s all the boxes ticked.

The Queens Hotel has an on-site restaurant, 215 guest bedrooms (some with a private terrace and views over City Square) and direct access from Leeds station.
