At 4,230 square feet, the College Suite has capacity for 500 people for a drinks reception, 450 in theatre style, and 300 for a banquet. The Merton Suite holds 435, 320 and 220 in the same respective layouts and the Trinity Suite 400, 300 and 180. The College Bar is good for drinks or a party for 350, and the University and the Pembroke Suites both accommodate 200 guests for a reception or in theatre style, and 120 for dinner. The Oriel is slightly smaller, with room for a reception for 220 folk, a conference for 180, or dinner for 130; smaller again are the Sommerville and the Merton, both holding 160 people for a reception, 130 for a conference and 100 for a banquet.
Three other rooms have capacity for 100 guests standing and 90 seated, and four hold a maximum of 60 standing and 40-45 sat down. The Library offers space for a soiree for up to 40, and the Lincoln Bar for 35. For those more discreet executive confabs the Brimpton has a maximum capacity of 25, the Hertford and the Mansfield 20, and four further rooms seat up to 10 people.
You’ll have experienced event managers to make sure all ticks along nicely, AV equipment arranged to suit your requirements, and high speed wifi. The creative catering team will come up trumps, with menus to cover all events and diets.
Overnight delegates should sleep soundly; there are 154 bedrooms, all contemporary in style, with complimentary wifi, an HDTV, work desk, and 24-hour room service.
