Rugby School

One of the oldest independent schools in Britain, the iconic Rugby School is a wonderfully historic setting for corporate events for up to 700 guests. With such diverse spaces, the heritage and traditional backdrop of this captivating venue provide an impressive backdrop to any product launch, conference, training session, board meeting or private dinner.

With 10 event spaces seating 25-700 in theatre style and 14-80 in Boardroom layout, each has a history of its own and a matchless ambience which lends itself to any private or business gathering.

The Old Big School was the original classroom for the Lower School from the 1800’s, and with warm wood panelling and historic elegance, there is space for 130 at a reception or 120 in theatre style. The Temple Speech Room is breath taking with huge arches soaring off Corinthian style pillars; it is versatile enough to seat 150 in banqueting style or 700 in theatre set up.

More contemporary buildings, some of which are purpose built, are suitable for all kinds of business events – you might like the idea of a seminar in the light and airy Foxcroft Lecture Theatre and Atrium, a drinks reception in the inspirational Lewis Gallery, or a board meeting in the Sports Centre Meeting Room, equipped with all the necessary meeting facilities. The Close is the hallowed turf where Rugby Football was first invented in 1823 and now, with its glorious surroundings, can host up to 500 for private dining, conferences or product launches in a huge marquee.

With ample on-site parking, junction 1 of the M6 is just 3 miles away, and Rugby train station only 1 mile.
