Lion Quays Luxury Hotel & Spa offers a choice of 7 event spaces, with the biggest, the ground floor Lion Suite, having capacity for 400 delegates in theatre style, 320 for a party, and 300 dining or in classroom arrangement. Within this suite is the Montgomery Room which has access to the private walled gardens and is filled with natural light from the floor to ceiling windows; it accommodates 100 guests for dinner or in theatre style, 80 in cabaret configuration and 60 for a party with a mobile bar and dance floor. There’s also the Garden Suite, with its own entrance, cloakroom and bar; it holds 120 people banqueting, 140 for a party with a mix of round and trestle tables, and 100 in classroom or cabaret style.

On the first floor are the Cabinet Rooms, which are rather fun with a Downing Street theme. The Cabinet Room itself overlooks the canal and has a private balcony; it seats 60 delegates in theatre style and half that number in boardroom layout. The slightly smaller Westminster holds 40 in theatre style and 20 for a board meeting, whilst Number 10 is perfect for executive meetings for up to 12, and Number 11 for up to 10.

You’ll have high speed wi-fi and state-of-the-art audio-visual technology, plus the services of a dedicated conference host to help with organising and running your event. The venue offers a choice of menus to cover everything from buffet lunches to gala dinners. Bedrooms all have tea and coffee making facilities, free wifi and a 42” LCD TV with freeview; Feature and Superior rooms have a balcony or terrace overlooking the canal. The hotel has a waterside restaurant and a trendy brasserie, as well as a relaxing Library Lounge for drinks. Guests may also take advantage of the excellent spa facilities.

With parking for 400 cars, the hotel can be found just off the A5; the nearest train station is a mere 5-minute drive away.
