Octagon Theatre

The award-winning Octagon Theatre is a central Bolton venue with versatile spaces for meetings and events for up to 390 guests. Fully redeveloped in 2021 this is a prime choice for concerts and live performance, btu also for conferences, product launches, training and team building days, workshops, presentations, awards ceremonies, banquets and dining, drinks receptions and private parties. It also comes into its own as a backdrop to photoshoots and filming.

The 6 event spaces at the Octagon Theatre have flexibility, accessibility, and cutting-edge AV technology at the forefront. Biggest is the Main Theatre, with climate control and room for 390 theatre style in the round (4 sides), 340 end on (one side) and 320 thrust (3 sides). The Studio Theatre seats up to 100 and the first floor Kitchen and Bar spaces also hold the same number. The ground floor Kitchen & Bar spaces have room for 60 as does the Crescent Room – 60 for drinks or in theatre style, and 30 in boardroom or classroom layout. Studio 2 seats 50 and for more intimate meetings and private dining the Sue Hodgkiss Room holds up to 20 guests.

The attentive team will work hard to ensure your event runs smoothly and there’s also a technical team available. You’ll have complimentary high speed wifi and menus tailored to suit your event form a talented in-house catering team.
