ARU Venue Hire Chelmsford
Just 10 minutes from Chelmsford city centre, ARU Chelmsford has modern lecture rooms and classrooms to hire for business meetings, conferences, product launches, and training and team building days for up to 400 delegates. If you’re looking for an academic backdrop to media projects this is a venue that also comes into its own for photoshoots and filming.
There are 5 larger events spaces on the green campus at ARU Chelmsford, and several classrooms seating 18-60 people. Largest are SAL001 and 004, 2 tiered lecture theatres for 400 or 200; MAB221 and QUEIOI have tiered seating for 160 and 140 respectively, MED002 is a Harvard- style lecture theatre that seats 100 and there’s a Corporate Suite that has capacity for 80 people theatre style, 72 in cabaret layout or 50 boardroom. All of have a foyer area that can be utilised for registrations, breakouts and refreshments.
All rooms come with a projector, screen, PC, speakers for PC audio, and cables for connecting laptops; the theatres and some of the larger classrooms also have PA systems and fixed microphones. Wi-Fi is complimentary, competitively priced delegate packages are available, and catering for all events comes via a talented in-house team. Dedicated conference staff are on hand to ensure all runs to a T.
With limited parking on site, ARU Chelmsford is a 15-minute drive from the M25 and 10 minutes from Chelmsford train station. Central London and airports are within easy reach.
