BLOCK Plymouth

Set within the historic Melville Building on the harbourside at Royal William Yard, BLOCK Plymouth is an inspiring and characterful venue for business meetings and events for up to 100 guests. Hire space for conferences, exhibitions, product launches, training and team building days and awards ceremonies, and for happy occasions like weddings and parties. With its iconic clock tower and stunning views across the harbour, this is a fantastic backdrop for photo shoots and filming.

BLOCK Plymouth has 7 meeting rooms; biggest is the Meville Room with capacity for 100 guests in theatre style, 72 dining and 32 in U-shape. The Courtyard Suite holds 54, 30 and 12 in the same respective layouts and the slightly smaller Firestone Bar has room for 50 theatre style and 25 dining. The Admirals Boardroom seats 26 and two smaller meeting rooms are great for smaller pow-wows for up to 10. The Bar & Café can also be hired for private events on request.

The experienced events team will work hard to make sure you have the best event ever, AV equipment can be hired as needed and there’s a choice of entertainment, team building activities and bespoke catering from creative in-house chefs who know how to showcase the best of local produce.

There is plenty of parking at the Royal William Yard and Plymouth train station is only 9 minutes by car.
