The Briar is a sensitively restored 17th century barn which formally functioned as the stables to our property. The Briar boasts many charming features such as original oak beams, exposed rafters and a working fire place creating the most quintessentially English of settings. The Briar is an extremely versatile function space and can cater for events both large and small. The Briar suite also benefits from having its own private bar facility, concealed dance floor, modern toilets and access to a peaceful court yard garden adorned with festoon lighting. The Briar Barn provides a practical function venue with plenty of rustic charm.

The Oak Room is a Georgian addition to our main house and is a versatile location for meetings and private dinners for groups from 6 to 30 delegates. Like much of our property The Oak Room boasts many attractive original features such as original oak panelling, ornate fire place and beautiful bay windows. The Oak Room also offers some of the most splendid views of our picturesque gardens as well as benefiting from French doors which offer direct access to a private terrace area - a perfect space for breakout sessions and team building activities.

The Drawing Room provides the perfect setting for small to medium meetings of up to 24 delegates. The Drawing Room is an attractive and bright room with many original features including ornate ceiling - emphasised in cream and white, simple stone Victorian fire place and large bay windows allowing lots of natural daylight to shine through. The Drawing Room also offers direct access to our Vault Bar & lounge area; the two rooms can be hired together to provide a formal and relaxed meeting and event space.

The Garden Room is located in our main house and is a popular room for small to medium sized meetings and events. The Garden Room is in-keeping which much of our property and offers many classic, Victorian features including high ceilings, original fire place and large bay windows which offer splendid views of our grounds and let in lots of natural daylight. The Garden Room also offers direct access to our gardens - perfect for those summer events. The Garden Room can also be hired as a syndicate room for larger conferences where a number of rooms are required.

The Library is our smallest meeting room; perfect for those events where an intimate atmosphere is desirable. The Library is light and airy and benefits from many original features such as an open stone fire place, ornate ceiling and tall bay windows that let in heaps of natural daylight. The Library also offers direct access onto our grounds and a secluded terrace area. The Library can also be hired as a syndicate room for larger conferences where a number of meeting rooms are required.
