From big party spaces to intimate meeting booths, with its swanky contemporary décor and two storey glass frontage with views over the River Avon, The Embankment in Stratford-upon-Avon is such a cool backdrop for weddings, or for business meetings and events. With capacity for up to 500 delegates you can hold your product launch, awards ceremony, team building day, training workshop, drinks reception, dinner-dance, or private party here and your guests will want to linger.

The biggest space is the Terrace, with capacity for 500 as a whole, or it can be divided into smaller sections to suit your event. On the ground floor, The Main Bar hold 280 for drinks or 140 seated and has its own bar, dance floor and direct access to the Terrace. Upstairs, The Garden Room is big enough for 200 guests standing or 120 seated; foliage covered walls add to the indoor-outdoor vibe, there’s a bar, dance floor, VIP area and loos. The Booth and Semi-Private Areas are great for up to 30 standing or 8 sat down and the Garden Domes hold 25 for canapes or 12-18 dining.

The venue has aircon and hi-speed Wi-Fi, spaces can be dressed to suit your event, AV equipment set up as required, and cocktail masterclasses are available. There’s an events team to ensure all runs to plan and a creative catering team to deliver globally inspired menus.

The Embankmment has paid onsite parking and Stratford train station is 10 minutes by car.

If you’re planning a more intimate occasion, you can instead opt to book out one of our garden domes. The unique area offers you a space away from the hustle and bustle but overlooks the recreation ground and the River Avon so that you don’t lose any of the venue’s atmosphere.
The space can accommodate a maximum of 12-18 party guests for a seated function and up to 25 for a cocktail and canapés reception.
