Stone Court House

In central Maidstone, Stone Court House is an award-winning boutique hotel that offers a sumptuous and romantic backdrop to your wedding day. It's also a popular venue for business meetings and events for up to 300 guests, including awards ceremonies, product launches, exhibitions, conferences, training and team building workshops, parties and dinner-dances.

Although predominantly a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse, parts of Stone Court House actually date back to medieval times. It was once home to the Sackvilles of nearby Knole House (NT) and was the Crown Judge's lodgings for over 200 years. Historic charm and period features abound, with oak staircases, panelling and beams, Tudor fireplaces, ornate plasterwork, and even a knight in shining armour.

Of the 3 event spaces, largest is the 120sqm Star Chambers, a 'starlit' marquee holding up to 105 seated or 150 standing. There are 2 70 sqm ballrooms, connected by a Georgian veranda; seating 75, The Sky Chambers is licensed for marriages and civil partnerships. The Judge Belinda Grand Ballroom holds 100 seated or 150 standing. Hired together, these opulent rooms with high ceilings and crystal chandeliers accommodate up to 300 guests.

The venue has cutting edge AV equipment, ultra-fast 5G Wi-Fi, and wotk with third-party events caterers. There are 8 individually designed ensuite bedrooms, two are in a bridal suite with a Gothic four poster bed, a marble bathroom, dressing room and living room.

There is a car park right opposite the hotel and the nearest train station is a 15 minute walk away.
