On the Writtle campus of the Anglia Ruskin University, just 2 miles from the centre of Chelmsford and surrounded by beautiful Essex countryside, ARU Venue Hire offers 2 impressive modern event spaces for conferences, presentations, product launches, training days and drinks receptions for up to 196 delegates.

The Northumberland Lecture Theatres offer 2 rooms with tiered seating for up to 98, or combine to give capacity for 196. The private foyer is ideal for catering, registrations or breakouts. The Main Hall seats 150 in theatre style over the ground floor and upper gallery and can be hired for evening and weekend events, with good availability outside of term dates.

All rooms have built-in projectors and screens with HDMI connectivity to laptops, and speakers and microphones. High speed Wi-Fi comes complimentary. The in-house catering team offer budget friendly menus for all events, and you'll have a dedicated Events Manager to ensure that all runs smoothly.
