The City Rooms
Stunning Georgian, Grade 1 listed banqueting, conferencing and events venue. After a two year restoration and refurbishment project The City Rooms has been brought back to life, a very popular venue for conferences and weddings alike.
The Ballroom, has magnificent windows and grand chandeliers, is a stunning setting for any wedding or ball. It spans the whole length of the first floor and is 9 metres in height which gives the room a sense of space and grandeur. It can seat up to 200 guests for a banquet, wedding or conference.
As well as the ballroom we also have a beautifully decorated bar and two other suites, the dining room and the drawing room, which are perfect for more intimate celebrations or meetings. Four boutique bedrooms on site and preferred accommodation rates available for neighbouring 4 star hotel for all event guests.
Used primarily as a venue to hold events, The City Rooms is also now open as first intended over two hundred years ago. The four lavishly decorated boutique hotel rooms are one of the best kept secrets in the city centre.

This room can seat up to 80 delegates and has natural daylight. This room works well when used with the bar which is directly next door. Delegates can choose to have their breaks in there as a private space if they wish. This room also offers the perfect setting for reception drinks at a corporate event.
