Shine is a Leeds conference, meeting and events centre run as a Social Enterprise aimed at making a difference to the local community and to the big wide world. With capacity for 150 delegates most types of events are covered here.
The entire venue is a light and airy historic space that whilst retaining significant period features has been brought right into the 21st century with contemporary styling. The 14 multi-purpose meeting rooms have a fresh and modern feel, with the biggest, the spacious Main Hall holding 150 folk for a reception or in theatre style, or 100 or a banquet.
The central Atrium also accommodates 150 for a reception, and 80 seated. The Headmaster’s Suite has room for 60 people standing, in theatre style and cabaret layout, or 35 in U-shape, and the Geography Room and Drama Room also hold 60 for drinks and a maximum of 55 sat down.
Staying with standing room for 60, the Studio seats 54 delegates and the Common Room and the Language Lab both hold 50. 4 further rooms have capacity for 45 guests sat down and again, 60 standing, and the smaller Chemistry Lab holds for 40 for drinks and 35 for meetings. The Tuck shop is the smallest room, perfect for board meetings for 14 delegates.
You’ll have complimentary wifi, up-to-the-minute audio-visual technology and meetings stationery, and a tempting choice of catering to cover all events. The experienced team will ensure all runs to plan.
Shine has its own parking with more car parks close by. Leeds train station is 10 minutes by car.
