With lots of eclectic art, this stunning boutique hotel on the outskirts of Reading city centre takes opulence to new heights with heaps of historic character and opulent décor. From its origins in 1911 as the Shire Hall for the County Council, the 5 star Roseate is a fantastic venue for your corporate or private event.

With three amazing meeting rooms, the hotel is fully equipped to host business gatherings of any size in luxurious yet modern surroundings. The Eden is the largest room, seating 40 for sit down dining and 50 in theatre or buffet style, whilst the distinctive Library room caters for up to 20 in the same layout. The smaller boardroom, the Cellar, has capacity for 14 delegates, with plush seating and a 52” wall mounted flat screen TV.

These stylish rooms all have air conditioning, state of the art technology and free Wi-Fi. Events can be tailored to your requirements and can include dinner and accommodation. There is also a Private Cinema room which offers a luxurious space for up to 30 guests - perfect for presentations or press launches. For larger events, exclusive use of the hotel is possible, giving you all the space and privacy you need.

The Eden room and the Library are also perfect for that dream wedding, being licensed for civil ceremonies. The events team will help you to plan your perfect day, with all the details just as you want them. The function rooms and the cinema are also available to hire for other private gatherings, or why not really go for it and opt for the exclusive use of the hotel?

Roseate has 55 beautifully styled bedrooms and suites. The décor is unique to each room and won’t fail to leave you feeling entirely relaxed, with voluptuous soft furnishings, a high tech audio-visual system, luxury toiletries and high quality coffee machines.

Dining in these sumptuous surroundings is something else, be it the recently refurbished Reading Room Restaurant and Bar, or the grandeur of English afternoon tea. Private dining for up to 50 people is offered in the function rooms.

The hotel has charged parking for several vehicles and Reading train station is just a five-minute walk away.
