Imagine having exclusive use of the dungeons after hours, when all the paying public have gone home! You’ll have a dedicated events team including hostesses, caterers, entertainers, technicians, porters and security staff. There’s the famous Drop Ride, and live action shows; you can opt for event photographers, and you’ll be taken in by how the scene is set with the built-in audio-visual equipment, lighting and special effects, period furniture and props, and the talented actors – what an atmosphere! Have a tour of the Dungeons, meet Mrs Lovatt in her pie shop, Sweeney Todd and Jack the Ripper – if you dare!
Depending on what type of event you opt for you’ll get a DJ and disco, unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks, and mouth-watering food from the venue’s highly respected partner caterers, whether it’s canapes and cocktails, or a lavish banquet. More formal dinners are held in the oak panelled Riverside Rooms which overlook the River Thames, or get into the swing of the merry making in the Tavern, an 18th century pub complete with a singing landlord and landlady.
Select from the fabulous packages the venue offers - dinner dances, banquets, cocktail parties and Christmas parties for 50-120 guests, or treat your guests to a VIP Dungeon Experience for 25-600 people, with red carpet reception and a ‘poison’ cocktail to get you in ghoulish Gothic mood! At the end of the night, go home, put on your jim-jams and have a nice hot cup of Ovaltine before you go to bed!

Hot and cold canapés - Receptions for up to 150 guests
For an event running for less than two and a half hours, where networking is the primary objective, a selection of hot and cold canapés can be served.
Bowl food menus
If an event is running for longer than two and a half hours, your guests will expect more substantial food and this will need to be provided to meet our licence conditions. Bowl food menus offer a more substantial alternative to canapés, whilst still allowing your guests to network.
Dinners for up to 65 guests
The caterers can offer you a selection of different menus; with modern or more traditional service styles.
