This beautiful Georgian House set in 5 acres of delightful gardens is tucked away in the City of London close to Moorgate. A green oasis amongst the urban surroundings, the HAC is a fantastic venue for corporate and private functions of any kind, day or night.

An impressive venue combining history with flexible event spaces, the HAC has complimentary high speed Wi-Fi throughout and is a striking setting for any corporate meeting, large or small. Seating up to 500 delegates in theatre style, The Prince Consort Rooms are light and airy with contemporary décor, and state of the art audio visual equipment. The separate courtyard entrance and the attached courtyard gardens are perfect for arrival drinks or breakout sessions.

The Ante Room and the Queen’s Room seat up to 50 in theatre style, or 40 in boardroom layout; the Medal Room seats up to 45 theatre and 24 boardroom, and The Court Room has capacity for 30 in theatre layout and 12 for a board meeting. Alternatively, the Library and Boardroom seats 14 and is housed in the Sergeant’s Cottage which dates back to 1850. Each space offers a wealth of ambience, history and character.

If you are looking for a venue that can offer the ideal setting for team building, you can even hire the grounds. Home to the HAC Cricket Club, this is a lovely location for sports matches and ice breaking barbecues. And in June and December each year, a huge marquee is erected on the lawns, offering yet more space for bigger conferences and presentations.

Whatever your event, it can be accommodated; experienced events organisers will help to plan your function exactly to your requirements, whether it’s a larger seminar, intimate board meeting or corporate dining. The HAC is proud to offer an extensive range of menus to choose from, prepared by first class caterers.

The HAC has all the magnificence of an English country house, yet is conveniently situated in the centre of London, so it’s no surprise that it’s an awe-inspiring venue for any private function and an absolute gem for fairytale weddings. Armoury House boasts classic rooms with high ceilings, and extravagant features; perfect for any lavish weekend wedding is the stunning Long Room hosting up to 250 for a buffet reception, or 150 for dinner. With rich oak panelling, huge stone fireplaces and a wonderful minstrel’s gallery (great for a harpist), this room can also accommodate 120 guest for a civil ceremony.

The adjoining ornate Court and Medal Rooms are great spaces for arrival or pre-reception drinks, or your guests can be welcomed downstairs in the Queens and Ante rooms, with gorgeous period features. The more contemporary Prince Consort rooms on the ground floor are also well suited to larger wedding receptions, or a cosier affair can be hosted in any of the smaller rooms which are also licenced for civil ceremonies.

The Long Room is an elegant, historic setting, perfect for your wedding celebrations, seating up to 150 guests for dinner. This richly decorated, oak-panelled room features a minstrel’s gallery, stone fireplaces and large picture windows framing breathtaking views of the Artillery Garden and out to the City beyond.

Built in the shell of the old victorian drill hall, the Prince Consort Rooms are a contemporary space that also pay tribute to the long and colourful history of the Honourable Artillery Company. The resulting combination is an exceptionally stylish venue of great character.
The Prince Consort Rooms can seat anywhere from 150–400 guests making it the ideal setting for larger wedding receptions.
It can be used independently of Armoury House or combined to give your guests the perfect mix of both the historic and modern sides of the HAC. There is also a picturesque outdoor courtyard overlooking the Artillery Gardens and the City beyond.
