Skylon

The Skylon restaurant, bar and grill is located on the 3rd floor of the Royal Festival Hall with stunning views across the Thames and London skyline. Reflecting the iconic style of the original 1951 historic building, Skylon is an elegant restaurant offering excellent dining and a unique event space.

For events large and small the Skylon is an excellent choice of venue. The restaurant and river view reception area offers private dinner parties for up to 60 guests or parties for 150 people. Exclusive hire of the whole venue can be arranged and can accommodate 300 guests seated or 500 standing. The team at Skylon can also organise catering for your event in other spaces around the South Bank Centre.

The main restaurant has modern British cuisine whilst the grill offers wholesome food in a relaxed setting. The restaurant and bar are separated by an impressive bar, which serves fabulous legendary cocktails. Should it be a corporate function, drinks and canapé reception, dinner or private party, Skylon will not disappoint.

Located on London’s famous South Bank, a 5-minute walk from Waterloo station with easy access to public transport and links to City, Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
