Formerly the South Kensington home of the Earl of Strathmore, this imposing Victorian mansion is home to a plush 4-star hotel; luxurious classic interiors combine seamlessly with modern facilities and top rate service. A fine choice for small-medium sized business events and meetings.

The two meeting suites have inbuilt flexibility so can be set out to suit your event. The Library Suite on the ground floor accommodates 70 guests for a networking reception, 55 for a theatre style conference or presentation, 25 in boardroom layout, or 20 for private dining. This is an elegant, light and airy room with a feature original fireplace.

The Study Suite is perfect for distinguished executive meetings and interviews, with warm wood panelling and bookcases. It has capacity for up to 20 people standing, 25 seated in theatre style, and 12 for a board meeting.

Both rooms have air conditioning and high-speed Wi-Fi, and audio-visual equipment can be arranged to suit your needs. You’ll have the use of business services - PC’s, printing and faxing services, and dedicated events staff to look after you; they’ll help to arrange catering tailored to your event.

For your overnight delegates, there are 77 guest bedrooms with opulent bathrooms finished in marble and granite. Expect super comfy beds, and sumptuous styling, with tactile silk and velvet touches. All rooms have an LCD TV, hospitality tray and 24-hour room service.

You can dine in the refined ambience of Earl’s Restaurant, with delicious international dishes on the menu; Glamis Lounge Bar is a sophisticated spot for lighter meals and afternoon tea, with lovely carved panelling, inviting club chairs and Chesterfield style sofas.

Strathmore Hotel can be found just a very short stroll from South Kensington and Gloucester Road tube stations.
