The King's Head

The King's Head

For one-off upbeat ambience, book The King’s Head for your next business meeting, drinks reception or private party. Located in amidst the fashion houses and resplendent architecture of swanky Mayfair, this is a great British pub with unbeatable atmosphere and service. You’ll find fabulous quirky interiors with wooden floors, heritage paint colours, decorative panelling, and period lighting, all adding to the easy-going mood.

With an illustrious history and royal connections, The King’s Head dates back to 1710 and was built on land formerly owned by the Duke of Albemarle. Although there’s a tad of uncertainty it’s thought to be named after King Charles II or King George II – hence both featuring on the pub’s sign!

There are two rooms for hire, with adaptable layouts to suit your event; the private Cellar Bar accommodates 100 guests standing, or 40 seated. Upstairs the bright and cheerful Restaurant seats 65 people for dinner or makes an equally good space for a drinks or networking reception for 120.

Real ale connoisseurs will love the eclectic selection on offer, and your guests can feast on top quality pub grub, with the emphasis on fresh and seasonal. Day delegate rates are very reasonable and included in the price is complimentary wifi, a projector and screen, flip chart, pens and paper, refreshments and a buffet lunch. If you want an early start the attentive team are happy to do breakfast for your event.

This traditional Mayfair venue can be found just a few minutes stroll from Piccadilly, Old Bond Street and Green Park underground stations.
