Café 1001

Cafe 1001's main space located just upstairs is the loft; holding up to 200 people, the loft plays host to a Klipsch Heresy soundsystem, fully equipped DJ booth, and the venue's cocktail bar. With lounge seating, booths and tables, the space can also be cleared out to create a dancefloor, with the versatility of the space's set up allowing for a variety of events. With an AV light setup and projectors, the loft can be transformed to suit the requirement of your event. The cosy and intimate cocktail bar is located just in the upstairs corner, with a unique menu featuring 1001's takes on the classics, as well as spritzes, breakfast cocktails, and currently a summer menu in partnership with CBD infused mixers, TRIP.

The Cafe 1001 terrace is probably east London's best summer spot. Running all along Dray Walk, it's the perfect hang out spot in the summer. With small tables and then larger benches as well, the terrace area is the best place for a cocktail or spot of lunch with some friends. Along the terrace, you can find our food partners: Only Jerkin' on the BBQ, and authentic wood-fired pizza joint, Sleazy Pizza. In the summer, 1001 hosts events downstairs, with music playing out onto the terrace, from live jazz music to house and disco DJs.

Leading out onto the terrace, Cafe 1001's ground floor has a DJ and live music set-up, perfect for summer party events. The downstairs area has full disabled access and disabled toilets, with the option for additional seating if required. The venue's main bar is downstairs, with a range of craft beers, wines, spirits and cocktails on offer. In the day-time, 1001 has a vibrant brunch menu, linked to an adjoining kitchen. The space serves coffees, teas, freshly made juices and soft drinks all day long, with gluten-free and vegetarian + vegan options available. Known for its lounge like atmosphere, the space by day is perfect for freelancers, work events, and meetings, or just a casual lunch with friends!
