Treat you guests to a truly unique and wild event located within the stunning Mansion House and Parklands found in Edinburgh Zoo. The zoo is not only home to many extraordinary animals but a fantastic events venue with exceptional spaces and rooms to cater for many events including corporate events, business meetings, family fun days, weddings, award ceremonies, the list is endless…anything is possible at Edinburgh Zoo.

The team are very experienced and will be your point of contact from start to finish to help you plan every single last detail from bespoke menus and catering, seating plans and layouts and will be there for you on the day ensuring everything runs smoothly and everyone has a great time. There are many DDR’s, menus and packages to choose from depending on your requirements however bespoke arrangements can also be accommodated at the Zoo.

The largest space available is the Jungle Café perfect for large scale events like dinner dances, exhibitions and parties it can accommodate up to 200 guests for a reception or 200 theatre style with access to outside lawns ideal for BBQ’s and even space to set up a marquee. Within the Education Centre is a large lecture theatre, fully equipped with AV technology and PA system and can seat 180 delegates.

At the heart of the Zoo is the Mansion House, a beautiful building set within 82 acres of parkland and also home to some of the best function spaces in Scotland. The magnificent Gillespie and Geddes rooms which can be used separately or together are perfect for fine dining events and meetings. With traditional oak paneling and access to the Mansion House Gardens these rooms are also a great choice for BBQ’s and summer parties. Combined the rooms can seat up to 100 guests for a banquet and split serve 90 or 40 guest’s theatre style or 60 and 40 for banqueting.

Other amazing rooms within the house are the Macmillan room with stunning views and ornate Wedgewood detailing can seat 90 theatre style or 60 banqueting. Set within one of the turrets of the Mansion house is the Keith room, a unique meeting room perfect for more intimate meetings for up to 12 guests. The lecture theatre and adjacent Budongo boardroom are one of a kind spaces with a viewing area of the chimpanzee enclosure and can seat 170 guests in the theatre or 12 in the boardroom. For more animal experiences for up to 50 guests choose the Penguin Café overlooking the penguin enclosure.
