There are essentially 6 spaces to choose from, with the biggest and most fabulous being the Main Auditorium. Originally built in 1899, this monster of a room seats 1,850 people; an impressive space with easy access to foyers with their own bars. The Patrick Studio has theatre style seating for 209 delegates, but easily adapts for banquets for 180 or receptions for 206. Studio 5 is a working dance studio that comes into its own for drinks receptions and theatre style events for 150 or banqueting for 100; it can even accommodate a small exhibition or live music – and if you’re thinking seriously big entertainment note that this room has access to the best circle seats in the auditorium.
The PwC Suite is good for receptions for 120 guests, theatre style presentations for 100 and board meetings for 40, and it can be divided into smaller rooms. The Gowling WLG Suite is perfect for smaller conferences and dining, it can also be partitioned to provide inclusive breakout space. It holds 50 people for drinks, 36 in theatre style, and 24 in boardroom layout. The smallest space, the Lloyds Room has capacity for 40 guests at a reception, 30 in theatre style and 24 in boardroom arrangement. Another option is to take over the entire theatre. Seriously. You can even give your guests a backstage tour as a little extra.
As you’d expect there’s high speed wi-fi, the latest audio-visual equipment, in-house technicians, and a highly skilled hospitality team who will pull out all the stops to make sure your event is a success. A talented in-house team will delight you with whatever you choose from a range of menus including breakfast, canapes and bowl food, and the tempting ‘devise your own’. Day delegate rates start at very attractive prices for a minimum of 10 delegates, but there are other packages available too – private dining, themed and bespoke events, networking breakfasts and lunches.
Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre is just 5 minutes’ walk from New Street Station and 15 minutes from Moor Street. Birmingham International Airport is 20 minutes away by train.
