Bar Soho

Cool and quirky, Bar Soho may be in an ancient building, but it’s right up there in the trendies when it comes to style, service and what they’ve got. It’s actually a cocktail bar spread over two floors and it’s modelled on the archetypal old Soho Brasserie, so you can imagine the décor; eclectic with a very sumptuous edge. Hire the whole venue, rooms or shared spaces for corporate parties and celebrations for up to 200 people.

Don’t let this one pass you by, especially if the LGBT scene is your thing, though that’s not just where it’s at, it’s for everyone. The Main Bar is fabulous (darling!), verging slightly on the bonkers-round-the-edges, which is good; there’s a big circusy-fairground theme going on with a fairground horse and snazzy mirrored walls that add to the vibe. There’s space for 200 folk standing but if you hire the whole venue that capacity rockets up to 300. Upstairs the Boudoir Bar is styled as a decadent New York apartment, and it’s got its own bar, DJ booth and loos, and if you want it, a separate entrance. What a setting for the office party or for private celebrations for 100! Bring it on!

They’ve got a terrific cocktail menu (of course) and food menus that aren’t far behind and the choice will have your tastebuds leaping about with excitement. It goes without saying that there’s superfast wifi and a late licence, and if you talk to the team about AV equipment, they’ll sort it.

Bar Soho is within easy walking distance of Tottenham Court Road and Leicester Square tube stations.
